The recent changes to Facebook have made it very difficult to get information out to you all on new giveaways, coupons, and special deals I’ve located. Less than 10% of the page fans are seeing the posts, on average, sometimes as low as 1%! Can you believe that?! Don’t let Facebook decide what you will and will not see. I couldn’t help it…I visited my local Dollar Tree, AGAIN! Once again, I have to give kuddos to the Natchez, Mississippi, Dollar Tree store. The ladies here are so nice and understanding when it comes to using coupons. I’ve read the horror stories some people have had in other stores with this new coupon policy. $45 before taxes and coupons, $21.45 after taxes and coupons. Here’s the breakdown:

My First Trip To Dollar Tree With Coupons – 08/27/2012

So I went to Dollar Tree today to use coupons for the first time. It went pretty well, actually. I’ve seen some mixed reviews from people across the country, some with horror stories of the way they were treated by store employees. However, my trip to the Dollar Tree in Natchez, Mississippi, was pleasant. The cashier was very courteous and didn’t give me any attitude or problems. She had to hand key the coupons, but didn’t seem to mind at all. I saved $15 before tax on 19 items. The breakdown is below.

HOT NEWS: Dollar Tree Will Begin Taking Coupons On Sunday (08/26/2012)!

Dollar Tree has released their coupon policy on their website! And I’ve updated the Store Coupon Policies page to include a link to it. You can also find it HERE. It’s at the bottom of their Terms & Conditions page. Be sure to print yours and add it to your coupon binder!

Here’s what the coupon policy will be:

IN-STORE COUPON ACCEPTANCE: GUIDELINES & LIMITATIONS

DOLLAR TREE WILL ACCEPT COUPONS IN STORES BEGINNING SUNDAY, AUGUST 26, 2012

Only original and intact manufacturers’ coupons will be accepted. Retailer-specific coupons will not be accepted.
Coupons are void if copied, scanned, or if they have been altered in any way.
Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.
We are unable to accept coupons for “Free” items with no purchase requirements or where the amount for the product is blank.
Coupons can only be used in stores and must be presented at time of purchase. Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash at a later time.
Coupons will not be accepted without the purchase of the item specified and are subject to the terms listed (e.g. expiration date, size, limitations, quantity, etc.).
Coupons cannot be redeemed for more than the purchase price of the item.
Only one (1) manufacturer’s coupon will be accepted per item.
Management has the right to refuse any coupon or otherwise limit quantities.
